Go Rogue!

The Basics:

Name: Gavin Darklighter

Species: Human

Homeworld: Tatooine

Group Affiliation: Rogue Squadron

Length of Involvement with the Rogues: Rebuilding - New Jedi Order

Last Known Rank: Colonel

Last Known Status: Active, in command of Rogue Squadron

First and Last Appearance: Rogue Squadron--NJO

The Cool Stuff:

Physical Description: From Rogue Squadron:: "Corran glanced over at where the tall, brown-haired pilot from Tatooine sat talking with the black-furred Shistavanen wolfman, Shiel. Corran, with years of sexperience in the spaceports and stations on Corellia, had spotted Gavin as being young despite his size. It's in the eyes--they years just aren't there but apparently the piloting skill is!"

Brief History: The sixteen-year-old cousin of original Rogue Biggs Darklighter, Gavin transmitted an application to Wedge Antilles during the rebuilding of the squad prior to the Coruscant campaign. He was added to the roster (with some controversy), where he remained throughout his career. Upon Colonel Tycho Celchu's retirement, Gavin was given command of the Rogues, which he retained until the NJO.

Friends: Asyr Sei'lar, Riv Shiel, Lujayne Forge

Enemies: Bror Jace (resolved)

Agendas: Gavin "looked" on his sixteenth birthday (something of a tradition with the Darklighter men), when he recieved a mandate to join the Rebellion.

Psychoses: No known.

Piloting Skills: Legendary

Battle Contributions: Bad puns, momentary anguish, and unnecessary chatter.

Miscellaneous: Young Darklighter found love with Bothan pilot Asyr Sei'lar, an affair that eventually led to her alleged death during the Krennel campaign. Later, he married some cheap social working floozie to create interesting drama when he realizes that Asyr is, in fact, alive. This reporter's money is on Asyr. Seriously, what chance does the floozie stand against a graduate of the Bothan Martial Academy?

Gavin Darklighter is quick, loyal, and intuitive. Despite his many years of service to the Republic, he manages to keep a sense of naivete. He does what is required to keep his people alive and his missions successful, even when the orders defy logic. He's a lot more fun when he's NOT the commander.
