 Our
next, hopefully brief stop, is Yavin IV, site
of the Rebellion’s first major victory against the
Empire. There was, at some point in history, a major
and fairly advanced civilization on this planet, but all
that’s left these days are these large stone
temples. These served as the base of operations
for the Rebellion when they destroyed the first Death
Star. You can see that some shards of debris
are still here, having not yet been dissolved by the melting
humidity of this planet’s jungle climate.
Actually, I’m being melted by the humidity as we
speak, not to mention that these jungle mosquitoes
are eating me alive. What do you say to bunking
down in one of the temples for the night and then getting
the heck out of this place? |
